I was in the Navy, we were briefed on Thailand. Lots of dos and donts. 1) Not all the women there are really women. 2) Don't get tattoos. Some of these guys won't clean and sterilize their equipment. 3) Lots of V.D. Aids is rampant. 4) They only love you for your money. 5) Never a good idea to marry a woman from their. As soon as they get their green card, they cut you loose like you don't exist. 6) Try their food, it's great. 7) Don't get into any trouble- you do not want to be introduced to their local law enforcement. They will kick your @$$. Their prisons suck worse than in the U.S.

Funny thing is, when i was 11 and my family would used to stay in our grandma's place every Christmas break, I would do the same thing about this short but in the bus, i wouldn't sleep in the bus or use gadgets cuz we weren't allowed so id just watch the street or turn the aircondiner fan towards me and make me feel extremely cold, until i see the moon set and the sunrise and tell my mom about it, she'd act proud of it even tho its not a good thing for a young kid like me back then, she still gave me a smile and told me "wow, really?" Now my mom and dad broke up because of our dads abuse. We don't even feel comfortable calling him that but we chose to live with him since we know our mom is already financially unstable and our dad is more responsible compared to her.
